Sylvia Geczy is an experienced, well educated musician who has grown up on the tradition of Bartok and Kodaly. She has got Hubay’s inheritance from her professors, which was an excellent base to develop, and build up a great career. Music is her life,and Sylvia believes her calling is to pass on her knowledge and experience to her students

Sylvia can teach the famous Kodaly method which is well-known all over the world. She has experience teaching groups (duo, trio, and quartet) as well as conducting orchestras.

Sylvia was very influential in the development of some of her students who went on to become professional violinists.

The music studio is located in Staines, near Ashford and Kingston road. Sylvia Geczy, the music instructor, offers private lessons for violinists, and pianists of all ages and abilities. She can prepare talented pupils for the ABRSM examination.  Her students range from professional musicians to beginners who are just looking to enhance the enjoyment of their hobby. Each lesson is specifically comprised of warm-ups, exercises and repertoire where students work on technique, sight-reading, theory, and ear training to learn to sculpt the pieces that have been uniquely selected for each student according to his/her ability, interest, and skill level.
